1. Determine the style
Determine the selected furniture, considering its functionality, craftsmanship, materials, and cost-effectiveness;
2. Determine the quantity
Determine the final quantity of furniture based on the user's actual needs and the layout of the house.
3. Determine the dimensions
Determine the appropriate dimensions of the furniture based on the size of the house, functionality, standard furniture dimensions, and furniture style proportions.
4. Determine the materials
Determine the various materials for the furniture based on customer needs, style, color, function, effect, and cost.
5. Sign the contract and make payment
Protect the legal rights and interests of both parties and ensure the orderly progress of the project.
6. Determine the furniture color samples
Customer confirmation of furniture color serves as the basis for the factory to produce a coating effect that meets customer requirements. The color also determines the materials used for the furniture, as some paint effects and colors cannot be achieved with all materials.
7. Draw CAD drawings
This allows customers to confirm and understand the details of the craftsmanship, dimensions, and proportions; it also serves as a reference for the production department regarding materials, structure, craftsmanship, and proportions, facilitating direct production based on the CAD drawings.
8. Review CAD drawings
Review the rationality and accuracy of the furniture product dimensions, details, structure, overall proportions, and material annotations.
9. Confirm details with the customer
Confirm the drawings with the customer and reconfirm the product positioning, functionality, coating effect, craftsmanship details, and materials.
10. Place an order for production
Coordinate with the production department on the production cycle, product details, and production requirements. This includes materials, craftsmanship, structure, shape and appearance, hardware, and stone. (Note: The production department needs sufficient time for material preparation.)
11. Woodworking layout
The woodworking department refers to the CAD drawings and color drawings to create 1:1 scale drawings of the product, adjusting any inconsistencies in shape and structure.
12. Material cutting
Divided into solid wood and panel types. Check if the required wood meets production requirements;
For solid wood, saw the lumber into parts with accurate outer dimensions, providing accurate positioning benchmarks for net material processing;
For panel type, select suitable panels according to furniture dimensions and structure, and saw them.
13. Mechanical processing
Drilling, milling, and processing of various furniture components. Panel bonding, hollow panel manufacturing, bending, veneer, pressing, and sanding.
14. Test assembly
Assemble the various furniture components according to the structure, checking the shape, proportions, and structure for rationality.
15. Component mechanical processing
Precise processing of each component, including carving for components requiring carving and mechanical iron-clad lines for components requiring decorative lines.
16. Overall assembly of the wooden body
For solid wood, apply glue for overall installation and fixing. After the glue solidifies and stabilizes, install and reinforce auxiliary components;
For panel type, fix the outer frame with glue and nails. After the glue dries and solidifies, seal the edges, and install and adjust drawers and cabinet doors.
17. Base sanding
Clean the surface of the wood, smooth out any local pits that appeared during processing, ensuring better flatness for painting.
18. Partial putty application
Apply putty to fill gaps and nail holes, then smooth it out.
19. Primer
The primer seals and fills.
20. Full putty application
Apply putty to the entire painting surface for better flatness, ensuring better flatness for painting.
21. Sanding
Smooth the surface for better flatness.
22. Color correction
Natural wood has color variations in different parts. Color correction makes the overall furniture color more consistent.
23. Second coat of primer
Further enhances sealing and filling, and increases the adhesion of the topcoat.
24. Smoothing
Smooth the surface to ensure the flatness of the topcoat.
25. Topcoat
Increases hardness and decorativeness, and protects the primer.
26. Drying
The topcoat solidifies and dries.
27. Second coat of topcoat
Strengthens the film thickness and surface hardness.
28. Third coat of topcoat
Further strengthens the film thickness and surface hardness. After complete solidification and drying, proceed with other processes.
29. Upholstery processing
Furniture mainly made of sponge and fabric.
30. Install rubber bands and springs
Provides support, increases comfort and breathability.
31. Apply lining fabric
Provides support and a smooth surface.
32. Apply cotton
Fix the sponge to the main frame using sponge glue.
33. Fabric layout, cutting, sewing, and bonding
According to the body shape after cotton padding, cut the fabric and sew it mechanically. Fix the fabric to the main frame according to the buttoning process.
34. Sew the sofa cushions
Sew the sofa cover according to the released pattern. It is divided into removable and non-removable types.
35. Sealing the bottom
Closing the bottom for aesthetics and protection
36. Installation
Overall furniture trial assembly, including: installation of hardware, guides, chains, handles, glass, marble and other auxiliary accessories.
37. Finished product cleaning
Clean dust, wipe off glue, cut off upholstery threads, and repair paint color.
38. Acceptance of finished products
Check the details of the finished product and take photos for archiving.
39. Packaging
The packaging of custom furniture generally adopts a rocking package form. The inner layer uses double-layer pearl cotton of different thicknesses plus corner protection, and the outer layer uses corrugated cardboard packaging, fixed with sealing tape. In addition, the outer layer of fragile furniture such as marble and glass needs to be added with a wooden packaging box for protection.
